New this season are strands of battery operated mini lights....perfect for holiday entertaining! Shown here intertwined in an ivy wreath, they add a special glow. Using three AA batteries, you will be amazed how a little twinkle adds so much.

Scents of early spring!

It is a joy to come into the shop and be greeted by the soft fragrances of the new candles!

Made in the USA and available in 16 ounce willow wrapped glass, each candle is hand-poured with the finest essential oils blended with clean burning soy-based wax.

Available in the following four soothing fragrances:

FRONT PORCH is as welcoming as a floral border and picket fence.

BACK PORCH has scents of spring hyacinths and wild sweet violets.

MEADOW MILK is wholesome and pure as morning dew on pasture grass.

SWEET TEA  is light and refreshing like freshly brewed herbal tea.

French Shea Butter Soap!

Walk into the shop and you will notice the light fragrance...two new products at Design studio.
This week's blog features the first new product..Shea butter soap, a product of France.
Discovered at the Atlanta gift market, we met the importer and fell in love with the colors and fragrances.
She told us the finest soaps in the world are produced in southern France, in the region of Provence.
Made exclusively for her from palm and copra oils, shea butter is added, giving the soap its wonderful smooth moisturizing qualities. Available in lavender, ocean and lavender flower in a 7 oz size, treat yourself or give as a gift!
